This took place a while ago, and there have been pictures all over the internet since the night itself; but not mine: my suicidal computer stopped me processing until now. So here’s my cotribution.
These sculptures were made by unknown artists in the Water of Leith, a river running through central of Edinburgh. They were made over a long period, in various stretches of the river around Dean Village. The storms in November had removed them, though I expect they will be rebuilt in the future.
