I have been to the King’s several times since John Byrne’s mural was unveiled a few years ago, but this time I had my camera.
In September I went to the McEwan Hall, part of Edinburgh University: it is used for ceremonies and guest lectures. I have been inside many times, but never with a camera: it was interesting to photograph it.
I came across St Mary Abchurch by chance: it is on a small yard down an alley in the City. I must have been close by many times, but just missed it.
There has been a church on the site since the twelth century; the original church burnt down in the Fire of London, and was replaced by the current church, designed by Sir Christopher Wren.
