I came across St Mary Abchurch by chance: it is on a small yard down an alley in the City. I must have been close by many times, but just missed it.
There has been a church on the site since the twelth century; the original church burnt down in the Fire of London, and was replaced by the current church, designed by Sir Christopher Wren.
Visitors to Rosslyn Chapel are not allowed to take photographs, but at an event seven years ago I was given permission to take whatever pictures I wanted. Following a visit last weekend, I decided to revisit the photographs I took then to produce some black and white images.
