I realised I hadn’t posted the pictures I took on the People’s Vote March in London last month. I didn’t take many photographs, partly because I had seen most of the placards and slogans before on previous anti-Brexit, pro-EU demos. I did take these, though. The march attracted over 100,000 people and, contrary to one placard (and previous experience) featured across BBC News media.
This was the last of three rallies in the last week in support of Scotland remaining in the EU and showing support for immigrants following the UK’s referendum last week.
This was by far the biggest, with about 2,500 people gathered outside the Scottish parliament. It was organised by Young European Movement, who were clear it was inclusive and all ages were welcome! Some of the people there had been to all three, like me, and there were some familiar banners.
