I went on the People’s March for Europe, an anti-Brexit demonstration in London in September. I took many pictures of the banners and flags, but there had been a great many blogs posts by others of the demonstration before I could get mine up, and I didn’t get around to posting my pictures.
Here are a few of my favourites, however.
This was the last of three rallies in the last week in support of Scotland remaining in the EU and showing support for immigrants following the UK’s referendum last week.
This was by far the biggest, with about 2,500 people gathered outside the Scottish parliament. It was organised by Young European Movement, who were clear it was inclusive and all ages were welcome! Some of the people there had been to all three, like me, and there were some familiar banners.
There is another march planned for 10 July 2016.
